We depart downtown Tromsø in the light of day, passing the Arctic Cathedral, as we head towards the Tromsø fjords. Along the way we sail past spectacular, towering mountains, charming villages and the traditional wooden cod drying racks, typical for Northern Norway. The Tromsø fjords are also rich in wildlife, and on our family-friendly fjord cruise we always hope to spot majestic sea eagles! We recommend dressing warmly, as you may be spending time outdoors to fully enjoy the experience. The Arctic weather can be unpredictable, so layering is key!
Tip: Even if the forecast looks mild, temperatures at sea can feel much colder due to wind chill. Dress warmer than you think you’ll need!
The cruise departs from Nerstrandkaia dock in Tromsø. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before departure to check in and get ready for the boat trip!

Meet up at 10:40 at the pier by the Nerstranda shopping centre.
All our boats have toilets, access to changing tables, sun decks and spacious lounges. Kiosk offering fresh baked goods from our local bakery, snacks and refreshments. Free Wi-Fi on board.
February – March
There is a lower water level in Tromsø, which results in a steeper gangway for disembarkation and boarding. This requires that the wheelchair user have the mobility to walk on and off the boat, and up and down stairs. Our crew will be helpful in getting both the passenger and wheelchair safely on board. This also applies to baby carriages. Attendants travel free with documentation. Choose the number of attendants in the booking.
