Experience the Preikestolen plateau view in wintertime

Love spectacular scenery? Enjoy challenges? Hate crowds? This winter combination tour is for you!

First cruise magnificent Lysefjord, stunning in its winter glow, past charming islands, sheer mountains and mighty waterfalls. See Fantahåla (Vagabond’s Cave of legend) and gaze up in awe at Preikestolen. At towering Hengjanefossen waterfall, the crew brings the bow so close to the falls that you risk getting your face doused with delightful spray (if it isn’t frozen). Your mountain guide and transport await in Forsand village for the next leg: A thrilling hike up to the famous Preikestolen plateau for world class, panoramic view. If conditions permit, you’ll follow an alternate route, which offers unique perspectives and exclusive photo opportunities. The mountain guide will provide boot crampons (spikes) and other seasonal equipment if needed, and assure an exclusive, memorable tour. Along the way there will be opportunities to catch your breath and snap photos of the spectacular nature around you. After an unforgettable hike, you’ll be rewarded with a panoramic view of some of the most dramatic scenery Fjord-Norway has to offer.

Return to Stavanger by mini-bus through the world’s longest undersea tunnel.
