From fjord to mountaintop
The fjords in Norway are world famous for their tranquil, unspoiled landscapes. Our exclusive day tour from Bergen takes you directly to one of the best: Beautiful 27-kilometer long Osterfjord. After cruising the fjords for 1.5 hours, we’ll set off on a memorable mountain hike that for long has been a well-kept secret only known to locals. This is the perfect excursion for adventurers seeking a once-in-a-lifetime fjord experience!

Scenic fjord cruise
Your journey begins in downtown Bergen with a beautiful boat tour through scenic Norwegian fjords. The farther into the fjord landscape we get, the steeper and more powerful the mountains become. Once we arrive at the picturesque Mostraumen straits, our experienced crew navigates through the strong currents before continuing all the way to the end of the fjord. Along the way, we cruise past waterfalls, steep mountains and charming villages on the banks of the fjord. With luck, we might even spot a sea eagle!

Hike in Norway like the locals
We dock at Mo, an idyllic village at the end of the fjord. Here our exclusive little group meets the professional guide from Norway Mountain Guides. Along the way our enthusiastic guides gladly share their knowledge and tell stories about the region and local culture.
Our goal on this hike from Bergen is Slottet, the region’s miniature version of Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock). The trek takes about one hour each way and has a vertical gain of 200 meters. During the hike there are seemingly endless chances to take great photos. At the top you can sit back, enjoy your packed lunch and simply take in the stunning view of the fjord scenery you just sailed through.
After the enjoyable break at the top of Slottet, we head back down to the lovely village of Mo. Take the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing dip in the fjord or dangle your feet from the pier before the boat trip back to Bergen.

The Norwegian weather can be unpredictable. To stay dry and comfortable, we recommend bringing:
