Leave your car behind – Admire fjords and mountains
Join us on this spectacular combination tour – from fjord to mountaintop! Leave your car parked and board our purpose-built sightseeing boat for a sustainable fjord cruise to Lysefjord and hike to Preikestolen.
Your day trip, starting in downtown Stavanger, quickly takes you into stunning scenery, with steep mountains, waterfalls, the Vagabond’s Cave and the sight of impressive Preikestolen from sea level as you silently sail through majestic Lysefjord. After cruising through one of the most famous fjords in Norway, it’s time for the wonderful Preikestolen hike. We handle transport to the trailhead, so you can focus on the adventure and enjoy the natural beauty around you!

Iconic Preikestolen
Lysefjord is home to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), one of Norway’s most famous hikes and landmarks. After gazing up at Preikestolen towering 604 meters above the fjord, it’s time to get ready for a memorable mountain hike to its great plateau.
When the boat docks, we take a quick bus shuttle to the Preikestolen BaseCamp trailhead. The well-marked trail winds through forests, rocky terrain and mountain lakes before reaching the Preikestolen plateau and the big reward: Breathtaking panoramic views of beautiful Lysefjord! Enjoy amazing fjord scenery and take a break at the top before making your way back down.
