The Ski Boat offers a fast and relaxing voyage from Stavanger city center to one of southwestern Norway’s top ski resorts, Sauda Skisenter.
The boat trip to Sauda is a beautiful fjord experience. On board we can tempt you with cold and hot drinks from the kiosk. From Ropeid quay, the trip continues by bus up to Sauda Skisenter where several kilometers of beautiful trails await!
The Ski Boat runs on Saturdays, when ski conditions are good enough. Check for updates on our Facebook-side (in Norwegian) or contact us at mail@rodne.no or call +47 51 89 52 70.

About Sauda Skisenter
Sauda Skisenter has five ski lifts, which can transport 5200 people to the mountains per hour, slopes up to 5.5 kilometers long, a dedicated family area, ski rental/instructors and café. Visit their website for updated information on trail conditions, weather forecasts and opening hours.

Tau: 08:25 (Minimum requirement of 5 travelers in total from this destination. Book before Friday at 12:00. You will automatically get a refund on your booking if the minimum requirement is not fulfilled)

Children under age 7: NOK 690. Children under age 7 are free of charge in all lifts when using a helmet, and do not need a lift ticket.
No discount for groups.
About 2 hours to the slopes at Sauda Skisenter. Bus from the wharf at Ropeid to the ski center.
From Strandkaien in downtown Stavanger, from Tau ferry dock and from the new ferry dock at Judaberg on Finnøy island. Please meet up at least 20 minutes before departure.
All our boats have toilets, access to changing tables, sun decks and spacious lounges. Kiosk offering fresh baked goods from our local bakery, snacks and refreshments. Free Wi-Fi on board.
Winter, when the ski center is open.
Not suitable for wheelchairs. Dogs are not allowed on the boat and bus. Children traveling alone must be at least age 13.
Note: On the bus, there are only a limited number of seat cushions for children.
