We sail from Bergen city center at 10:15. The cruise goes through the beautiful, western archipelago, before we arrive for a delicious two-course lunch at Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri and the family restaurant of Ørjan Johannessen, world champion in culinary art from Bocuse d’Or 2015.
There’s plenty of time for a stroll in the idyllic surroundings before we continue by sea to Tysnes. The boat trip is a great outing in itself, where we sail between islands, islets and reefs. At the historic site E. H. Vaage Landhandleri og Bageri country store and bakery, you’ll be treated to freshly ground coffee, homemade chocolate and hear local tales.
Then we head toward Bergen. The last stop on this trip full of rich experiences is a guided tour, storytelling and tasting of a selection of gin at Bareksten Spirits. This Norwegian gin has been named the world’s best, and won double gold in the World Spirits Competition in 2017!
After a day with many impressions and experiences, we arrive at Zachariasbryggen wharf in Bergen at about 17:30.
