After a two-hour boat tour, you arrive in the heart of Rosendal – a beautiful village on the banks of the fjord, surrounded by majestic mountains! What to do in Rosendal?
Rosendal is a small village with a broad range of attractions and beautiful outdoor experiences!
How about a hike up to the Sjethaug viewpoint with panoramic views of fjords and mountains? Or a stroll to the impressive Hatteberg waterfall? A stone’s throw from that powerful waterfall is Baroniet (Barony) Rosendal, the Manor House from 1665 – Scandinavia’s smallest castle. Admire its beautiful renaissance garden and have lunch in the Garden Café while you enjoy a view of the magnificent mountains surrounding Rosendal. Learn about the nearby Folgefonna Glacier, the Hardangerfjord and the local way of life at the Folgefonn visitor’s center.
And some good news for those who want to explore more of the Hardangerfjord region, or climb the spectacular Trolltunga rock formation: Our boat corresponds with the bus to Odda, near the trailhead for the unforgettable Trolltunga hike.

Travel like the locals – Book and explore Hardangerfjord
